This work ruminates on Lilly Reich and Mies van der Rohe’s architectural collaborations. A scaled model of the Barcelona Pavilion becomes a platform that the visitor stands on.  Suspended headphones play an audio track that collages fragments of text about Lilly Reich’s work as an exhibition designer and architect, how she worked with and against social expectations of women (she is now credited with co-designing the Barcelona Pavilion). On the platform the visitor becomes a performer, whilst submerged in the reflective and receptive act of listening.
